5th ANNIVERSARY ART EXPO

CALLING ALL ARTISTS (OR ANYONE WHO HAS ACCESS TO ART SUPPLIES)

We would love to celebrate God’s kindness to our little church by seeing your “Treasured Moments of Trinity Grace” through art. It can be funny or serious. Whether it’s a church event (Lake Day, Variety Show…etc.), Youth Group game, moment in a sermon, place where we met as a church, significant song you love to sing, baptism, or anything else from the last 5 years that is a “treasured moment”, we would love for you to submit an artistic rendering for our art gallery at the 5th Anniversary Picnic on Sunday, Oct. 29th.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Anyone of any age! If you have children, this would be a fun way to draw them out (literally) about their favorite moments. These don’t have to be professional grade artistic pieces. Some of you actually ARE good artists - that’s great! For the rest of us, don’t let skill level keep your from submitting something. It’s not a contest. It’s an expo. It will be fun to see the range of moments and artistic expression!

WHAT KIND OF ART?

We would love to have massive murals and modern statues made out of scrap metal. HOWEVER, we are going to be setting up and breaking down in a small area at the Expo Center. So, these need to be small, light, and resilient works of art. With that in mind, this is what we’re looking for:

  • Paintings / Drawings - less than 18’’x'18’’

  • Sculptures - less than 2 ft tall

HOW MANY PIECES CAN I SUBMIT?

Some of you (especially children) are prolific artists. But we don’t want to flood the gallery with just a couple artists. So please:

  • Submit up to 2 pieces of art with a title and a one sentence summary of what it’s about.

WHAT DO I DO NOW?

  • Sign up your artists below.

  • Start drawing, painting, or sculpting!

  • Get your pieces to Taylor Hollingsworth or Rebecca Myers by Wednesday, Oct. 25 - bring them to church or the office.
