No matter how hard we try to avoid it, the Christmas season flies by. It’s only December 4 & it seems to be flying already!
That’s why last Sunday Taylor encouraged us to plan & strategize ways to share with others in our community during the Christmas season.
Here are five ways he encouraged us to share:
Cook (or buy) something seasonal & take it to your neighbors. (Pro tip: Put it on a glass dish, so that you can see them again when they return the dish!)
Invite someone over for a meal.
Volunteer with a local ministries. Women at the Well, Full Circle, Grace & Mercy House, & Coordinated Charities are great options.
Go through your phone/Facebook & message people you haven’t seen in a while & wish them Merry Christmas! (It may prove to open up more opportunities to love & care.)
Hand write Christmas cards & give them to unsuspecting people in your everyday routine (gas station attendants, co-workers, waiters, etc.).
Pick one or more of these & tell us how it goes!
