Dustin & Mandy have served TGKids very well the last 2 years & we are excited to have Scott & Lauren step into this role!
INTRODUCING SCOTT & LAUREN…
Scott & Lauren both grew up in the Athens. After marriage, they lived for the next 30 years in Nashville, Atlanta, Washington DC, & Tulsa, while Scott pursued his career. After Scott retired from a 28 year career in law enforcement, they settled back into McMinn County two years ago & began attending Trinity Grace.
Lauren, who will serve as the primary coordinator of curriculum & training & developing our teachers, comes to us with a love for Jesus, the Word, & kids! Anyone who knows Lauren knows this to be true! She began adulthood teaching Kindergarten, then stayed home & raised their two now adult daughters. (Scott & Lauren are pictured below with their daughters, Emma & Bess!) However, she enjoyed opportunities to teach children in Sunday School & Bible Study Fellowship over the years. Lauren is eager to get to know our parents & kids of Trinity Grace better, as well as to work with our generous & loving volunteer teachers. Scott will serve as administrative support for the program, as well as seek to evaluate & manage the security & safety of our children. After 30 years of Lauren supporting his career, he is looking forward to supporting her!
