This Sunday, we are celebrating our second birthday as a church!
I know. 2 years old. Whoopdeedo.
Well, we are actually pumped, because we want to seize every opportunity to give thanks to God for gathering us together as a church! So, we are going to celebrate & party on Sunday afternoon!
DETAILS
All the festivities will begin at 4:00pm at Athens Market Pavilion (106 S. Jackson St.).
There will be a huge, blow-up obstacle course, a bounce house, & plenty of green space for ultimate frisbee or football.
Around 5:45pm, we’ll enjoy dinner together—including home-made barbecue by our very own Bo Cagle & Michael Kessler!
Then, after dinner, we’ll have our annual Battle of the Community Groups. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to take out your friends in some somewhat-friendly games. May the best Community Group win—as long as its not the Pritchetts!
SAFETY
There will be plenty of space to socially distance in a way that makes you comfortable.
In addition, dinner will be a bit different this year. Instead of enjoying a potluck where we get to pick & choose, our food will be plated by volunteers & picked up as we go through the line. This will reduce the potential exposure of potluck sharing & help to keep us safe.
FRIENDS
This celebration is not just for us!
Please invite family & friends to come along with you & enjoy the afternoon with us!
